General Public
Entry to the Millom Heritage and Arts Centre is free for all visitors.
As a registered charity and not-for-profit organisation we appreciate all donations, whether large or small.

Schools
We are always excited to welcome school groups to our Heritage and Arts Centre. Children find it easy to engage with our interactive displays and collections that explore over 150 years of the social and industrial life of Millom and the local area. We encourage pupils to connect with local Cumbrian history, learn through our stories and exhibitions and enjoy learning with our activity sheets and poetry wall.
We’re situated on the platform of Millom railway station, in the Victorian station building, which houses our Gift Shop, Ticket Office and our unique street-style museum, a layout that lets students explore our history in a safe and fun environment.
All school visits are free, however we do ask that we are contacted prior to your visit to ensure we can accommodate numbers and make the experience as fun as possible for the children, teachers and any helpers. Read more about School Visits here.
